Our difference
I'm an active classroom teacher in my 11th year. I gained my experience through pre-Covid years in a district that was taken over by the state where I gained experience in teaching in a high poverty rural area and was successful. I also learned to leverage the human resources provided by the state to push my students through full 1 to 1 technology integration through Apple. I am an Apple Distinguished Educator. I saw the implementation of 1 to 1 in a new district where we implemented less effective Chromebooks due to Covid 19 and helped lead my school through that transition. I saw the rise of AI and I remain on the cusp of that innovation. I also served as an education policy advocate through our State and local education union where we successfully lobbied to pass policy changes that impacted student and educators lives.
